Marvel Rivals Season 8 Release Date

Marvel Rivals Season 8 is scheduled for release on May 15, 2026, at 9 AM UTC. This was confirmed in the official Marvel Rivals Season 7.5 roadmap. However, the players figured out the release date of the upcoming season even before the official announcement, as the weekly challenge for the current season ends with week 8.

Devs are yet to reveal a roadmap for the upcoming Marvel Rivals Season 8 at the time of writing. However, based on the seasonal updates history, we can expect the upcoming season to be stacked with fresh heroes, amazing skins, and new modes to play.

Marvel Rivals Season 8 New Heroes

Devil Dinosaur is confirmed to be the first playable hero in Marvel Rivals Season 8. NetEase Games has released a new hero teaser, teasing the arrival of Devil Dinosaur. Previously, Devil Dinosaur and Cyclops were speculated to be the new playable heroes in Marvel Rivals season 8. Now, one of these heroes is officially joining the Marvel Rivals hero roster.

If you have been following Marvel Rivals for a long time, then you would know that the new gallery card available in the battle pass includes a hint for the new heroes in the upcoming season. On the same note, season 7’s Gallery Card included a Devil Dinosaur plushie and Cyclops’ sunglasses. This strongly suggests that Cyclops will be the next playable hero to arrive in season 8.5 after Devil Dinosaur.

Cyclops has been a leaked Marvel Rivals hero for a long time, ever since his datamined info surfaced online. So keep your fingers crossed for these two new heroes next season. Based on their powers in the Marvel universe, we expect Devil Dinosaur to be our new Vanguard and Cyclops to be our new duelist.

Marvel Rivals Season 8 New Skins

Avengers PvP, the first mode of the Path to Doomsday event, is now live in Marvel Rivals Season 7.5. According to the Avengers event road map, Avengers: Age of Ultron-related events are on the cards for the upcoming season. Similar to how the OG Avengers skins arrived in stores, we can expect the Age of Ultron-themed skins for Avengers and Ultron next.

In addition, we can also expect original and comic-based skins for many heroes, including Black Widow, Emma Frost, Magik, Luna Snow, and more, according to the latest leaks.
