It’s Miranda Priestly season and Meryl Streep is going all out. On April 17, the Academy Award-winning actress channeled her Devil Wears Prada 2 persona in a monochrome ensemble that would leave the entire Runway office shaking in their stilettos.

For her stroll through New York City on Friday, Streep wore a maroon trench coat with white stitching and a waist-cinching belt. The glossy, eye-catching fabric beautifully reflected the sunlight as she strutted from the entrance of her hotel to her waiting car. For a bit of extra flare, Streep wore the collar of her coat turned up, drawing attention to her patterned red blouse and matching pants underneath.

The picture of style and sophistication, Streep paired the look with silver hoop earrings, a Manu Atelier suede tote bag, and red-tinted cat-eye sunglasses. As an homage to her onscreen persona, Streep added a pair of Steve Madden slingback heels in red as a fierce finishing touch.

She kept her hair simple, wearing it straight down over one shoulder. On her hand, she wore a chunky red statement ring and a short French manicure.

From head to toe, Streep’s monochrome ensemble was absolutely worth a double-take. Earlier in the day, the star served up more style inspiration in a lustrous green-and-black coat with a bold polka-dot pattern. She styled the outfit with a white button-up, jeans, black boots, matching sunglasses, and an oversized handbag in charcoal gray. For her on-the-go look, Streep wore her hair up in a soft bun.

A day earlier, the Only Murders in the Building actress delivered her take on the office siren trend in a black pinstripe suit. The extra-long blazer, which she layered over a black button-up, featured a floral appliqué on one side of her lapels. Her baggy trousers were folded at the hem to reveal black pointed-toe pumps. Streep kept her accessories simple with gold cuff earrings, black shades, and a coordinated handbag.
