Will Victor Wembayama play tonight?

That’s the biggest question of the night on Friday, April 24, after the San Antonio Spurs superstar left the team’s last playoff game with a concussion.

Without Wembayama, the Spurs lost to the Portland Trail Blazers in a thrilling Game 2 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series, one of several this postseason where the underdogs are showing they won’t be intimidated.

The Spurs-Blazers game is one of three games on the playoff schedule April 24.

The night opens with Game 3 of the Boston Celtics-Philadelphia 76ers, where the series is tied 1-1 after each team scored double-digit wins in the first two games. After Boston had its most lopsided Game 1 playoff win in franchise history, Philadelphia returned the favor with an impressive 14-point road win behind VJ Edgecombe’s 30-point game in Game 2.

Later, the Los Angeles Lakers, without the injured Luca Doncic, are seeking a commanding 3-0 lead over the Houston Rockets in their Western Conference series after recording two wins as home underdogs. While the Lakers might be getting back Austin Reaves, who’s been upgraded to questionable after his oblique injury, the Rockets won’t have Kevin Durant, who is out with a left ankle sprain.

Is Wemby playing Game 3?

San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembayama (concussion) is questionable to play in Game 3 on April 24 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Wembayama, the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year, suffered a concussion in the first half of Game 2 after hitting his head on the court while driving to the hoop.

He’s taking part in shootaround with teammates hours ahead of Game 3.

Are the NBA playoffs best-of-five or best-of-seven?

Every NBA playoff series is in a best-of-seven format. The first team to win four games wins each series.
