Now streaming on HBO Max, “The Bride!” unleashes Jessie Buckley as an unhinged take on “The Bride of Frankenstein,” while fans of Uma Thurman’s vengeful Bride finally get to see Quentin Tarantino’s two-part “Kill Bill” movie in one long uncut epic at home on Peacock. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon’s Prime Video and Hulu have a bunch of new films for Memorial Day viewing, including a John Krasinski “Jack Ryan” movie and a comedy about gender dynamics starring Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike.

‘The Bride!’
Maggie Gyllenhaal’s wild take on the “Frankenstein” mythos borrows from B-movie horror, crime dramas, Broadway musicals and love stories, mashed together in bold, bizarre strokes. Jessie Buckley is the resurrected Bride, who demands to be heard alongside her patchwork partner Frank (Christian Bale) and starts a revolution.

‘Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair’
Quentin Tarantino’s violent two-part 2000s revenge thriller – starring Uma Thurman as the Bride, a woman with many scores to settle – is edited into one uncut gem, the way the iconoclastic director always intended. The “Whole Bloody Affair” runs a hefty 4 hours and 41 minutes, with new bonus sequences and a 15-minute intermission.

‘Ladies First’
Sacha Baron Cohen plays a charismatic but chauvinistic ad executive who, while berating an employee (Rosamund Pike) out of the building, is knocked out after walking into a light pole. ‘Marty, Life Is Short’
An enjoyable companion piece to last year’s “John Candy: I Like Me,” director Lawrence Kasdan’s documentary chronicles the comedy life of Martin Short, his early years in “SCTV” and “SNL,” and his coterie of wonderfully bizarre characters. Most of all, though, you get the sense that this loving family man is the best hang at any party.

‘Remarkably Bright Creatures’
The heartwarming dramedy stars Sally Field as Tova, an aquarium cleaner who looks out for an octopus named Marcellus (voiced by Alfred Molina). A bum ankle leads her to train young cash-strapped drifter Cameron (Lewis Pullman) on the job, though Marcellus sees that together they can help each other find what’s missing in their lives.

‘Send Help’
Rachel McAdams enjoys one of her most fun and unhinged roles outside of Regina George in Sam Raimi’s dark comedy/thriller. She stars as a strategy expert (and “Survivor” superfan) who gets stuck on a deserted island with her sexist tech-bro boss (Dylan O’Brien). She thrives and he struggles, and the situation grows gory and bonkers.

‘Slanted’
A coming-of-age version of “The Substance,” the audacious body-horror satire centers on a Chinese-American teen (Shirley Chen) with prom-queen dreams. She undergoes a mysterious process that turns her into a white girl (Mckenna Grace) – which she loves until it alienates her parents and her face shockingly begins to fall apart.

‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War’
After four years of the “Jack Ryan” TV series, John Krasinski takes Tom Clancy’s literary action hero back to the movies. In the political thriller, ex-CIA operative Jack gets sucked back into the secret-agent game and teams up with old friends – plus a new MI6 officer (Sienna Miller) – to stop a black-ops squad from causing global chaos.

‘We Bury the Dead’
After Tasmania is devastated by an experimental American weapon, killing half a million people, Ava (Daisy Ridley) volunteers for body-removal duty to find her husband. But some of the dead come back to life, and not in a good way, in a zombie horror drama that’s more an exploration of grief and loss than a gore-filled spectacle.
