Phillies Right Now

GettyDon Mattingly, interim manager for the Philadelphia Phillies, looks on after a 7-0 win against the San Francisco Giants at Citizens Bank Park on April 28, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Phillies are currently the fourth-place team in the National League East with a 12-19 record in 31 games.
They are just 4-9 in the 13 games they have played on the road.
Following four games against the Marlins, the Phillies will return home to host the Athletics.
Recently, the Phillies moved on from manager Rob Thomson.
MLB legend Pedro Martinez wrote (on April 28): “Alex Cora and Rob Thomson are both victims of their success. They did so well and both organizations gave so much to them to handle, that when things stopped clicking, they were the ones to blame.”
The Phillies made the World Series in 2022.
They have also reached the MLB playoffs in four straight seasons.
