USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a public health alert for certain meat and poultry products containing FDA-regulated dairy ingredients that may be contaminated with Salmonella.

FSIS said the affected products were made with ingredients formulated with dry milk powder that had been recalled. The agency said additional downstream products could be identified as the ingredient recall progresses and that it will update the alert as more information becomes available.

The list of products subject to the public health alert are available here, including information such as the establishment numbers and states where the products were distributed. The labels are available here.

The issue was identified after the Food and Drug Administration notified FSIS that multiple federally inspected establishments had received the recalled dairy ingredients.

FSIS said there have been no confirmed reports of illnesses linked to consumption of the affected products.
