Tamera Mowry-Housley is dealing with the wrath of several Threads users, who remember the actress and her husband’s previous sentiments on the Trump administration

Tamera Mowry has removed her Threads account mere hours after signing up.

On Monday, April 13, the former Disney Channel star, 47, made her entrance on the social media platform, with her initial post stating, “I’m new here.”

Threads has developed a reputation as a space where users speak candidly. Even Hollywood figures, including Mark Ruffalo, have utilized the text-based platform to deliver sharp criticism to other public figures like President Donald Trump. The same proved true for Tamera, though she found herself on the receiving end as fans seized upon her debut to voice their opinions regarding her husband’s political leanings.

Below her initial post, one user asked, “Rules: You will not be treated like a celebrity here. What is your stance on January 6?”

Another commented, “Watch yourself TaMAGA.”

A third posted, “Go ahead and head out. On this app they either love on you or don’t. And when they don’t, it’s ruthless. Over here they like Tamera Campbell and Tamera Mowry, but they don’t eff with Tamera Mowry-Housley.”

The actress has been absent from Threads ever since.

Tamera has faced public scrutiny stemming from her marriage to former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, who recently backed the Trump administration’s proposal to prohibit the use of food stamps for buying junk food.

Sharing his perspective on X, he stated, “As a kid who grew up in neighborhood grocery stores since I was 5, I can’t tell you how many times I saw people come in and buy crap food for their kids with food stamps, then open the wallet and use cash for liquor, beer, wine and cigarettes.

“Then there were those who would repeatedly buy a lemon or lime, get the change, walk out the door throw them away and do it again. Until they had enough change to buy cigarettes or alcohol,” he added. “As a kid it pissed me off because there are some people who could really use the help and then there are these others working the system.”

Tamera has typically maintained privacy regarding her political leanings, though she will sometimes express her personal opinions.

Following Charlie Kirk‘s assassination in September 2025, the actress condemned those “celebrating” his death as “demonic.”

In 2018, Adam addressed the speculation about their political positions.

In a tweet, the correspondent explained, “This is just for clarification so if you see any stupid people spewing lies…per usual…have them refer to this tweet. @TameraMowryTwo and I did not support Trump or Hillary [Clinton] and nowhere has there ever been anything said to prove such.”
