UPDATED: The Tornado Warnings affecting Wood County have now been cancelled.
Another Tornado Warning has been sent out to Southern Wood County until 5 p.m.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Tornado Warning for Wood County until 4:30 p.m.
An AlertBG Urgent Message from Bowling Green State University was sent out. Students were told to “seek shelter inside the lowest level of a sturdy structure, away from windows.”
The Weather Service said severe thunderstorms are capable of producing both tornadoes and wind speeds of around 60 mph.
Flying debris is something to watch out for and is dangerous for those caught without shelter. Tree damage is also said to be likely. Golfball-sized hail is also possible.
