The son of former professional tennis player Stefano Cobolli, Flavio was introduced to the sport early on. That said, tennis wasn’t his only passion. He was also keen on football and even played in the youth academy of AS Roma.

Flavio Cobolli’s career: from Subiaco to the Davis Cup
Cobolli’s sporting journey began on the courts of the Roman province and has gradually taken him onto the international stage. Under the guidance of his father, his development followed a steady, structured path built on daily training and carefully timed progression through the ranks.
After competing in junior tournaments, he claimed a significant early milestone by winning the Roland Garros junior doubles title in 2020. From there, he moved onto the professional circuit, collecting important results on the ATP Tour and earning a regular place on the Italian Davis Cup team, which went on to lift the trophy in 2025.
