Rochester Gas & Electric reported thousands of power outages Tuesday morning in Ontario County.
The numbers have fluctuated through the morning, with 17,000 customers without power as of 6 a.m.
A large number of those customers were in the Canandaigua-Hopewell area.
The number was down to 8 customers by 2:15 p.m.
