SACRAMENTO, Calif — A shooting has been confirmed to be occurring near Howe Park in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s office. 

According to authorities, multiple victims have been shot. The assault occurred while officers were trying to disperse an event at a nearby park, according to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire. 

Four victims have been located and transported to local hospitals for minor to moderate, one of which has been confirmed a juvenile. No fatalities have been confirmed.
