Boy bands are having a major moment again—and Millennials are enjoying the much-needed time travel back to a simpler era of life, thanks to some of the songs that served as the soundtrack of our child/teenhood.
Last month, iconic 2000s R&B group B2K kicked off their long-awaited co-headlining Boys 4 Life Tour with Bow Wow. Joined by a lineup of talent with a catalog of memorable throwback hits, the quartet—comprising Omarion, J-Boog, Lil’ Fizz, and Raz-B—is seeing a resurgence in popularity after putting their past differences aside and officially reuniting (with confirmed new music on the way…).
The production—also featuring Pretty Ricky,Amerie, Waka Flocka, B5, Yung Joc, Dem Franchize Boyz, and Crime Mob—is in celebration of their 25th anniversary, and marks over two decades since the very first time both musical acts hit the stage at 2002’s Scream Tour II, a cultural occurrence that still stands as a core memory for longtime supporters.

The tenth tour stop at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena on Sunday, March 8, was lit up with fans’ excitement at witnessing the boy band taking the stage together once again. Performing collectively and individually, giving each member time to shine in the spotlight and showcase their own talent, the singers took the audience back through their catalog, as concert attendees sang along to each track line by line.
The group’s set highlighted a string of hits, including “Why I Love You,” “Gots Ta Be” and their party anthem, “Bump Bump Bump,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 2003. 23 years later, the boys have still got it, fully engaging the crowd with their stage presence, smooth moves, and polished vocals. Over two decades may have passed since they first began, but on stage, they still didn’t skip a beat.
Originally announced in November 2025, the 28-city concert series, powered by Black Promoters Collective, runs through Sunday, April 19, where it’s slated to wrap up in Hampton, Va. Tickets are available online now.
