Leap into the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising, in Pokémon Trading Card Game Live when it arrives on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PDT. You can play with new Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, such as Mega Greninja ex and Mega Floette ex, as well as enjoy the debut of Build & Battle Mode, a format where anyone can jump in for fun, four-Prize matches!

Two new Battle Pass decks also make their debut with this expansion. Players will receive a Mega Greninja ex deck upon log in after Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising goes live, and they can unlock a Mega Floette ex deck as they play. Professor Fir will even have a new Learning Lab lesson ready to help players get the most out of their new Mega Greninja ex deck. If you’ve ever joined a Pokémon TCG Prerelease event, you know it’s a fun way to open some packs, stretch your creativity, and have some quick, fun battles. Starting with the launch of Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising, Pokémon TCG Live Trainers can enjoy a similar experience with the new Build & Battle Mode.

You’ll receive a 40-card deck and booster packs to further customize that deck before matching against other online players! Entry to these events will require a new in-game currency called Event Tokens, so be sure to keep an eye on our social media channels and marketing emails for codes awarding Build & Battle Mode entries.
