Caitlin Clark shared a sweet message to her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, to celebrate their third year of dating.
The Indiana Fever star shared a photo of the two where she wore a long satin blue dress and McCaffery a black tuxedo on their special day.
“Three years with my fav you’re the bestttt,” Clark captioned the post.
Fans and fellow athletes congratulated the two on three years together in the comment section.
“Looking great together,” WNBA icon Lisa Leslie wrote, adding two red heart emojis.
“The cutest!!!!” Clark’s teammate Lexie Hull wrote, adding another jokingly sarcastic comment, “You guys clean up nice I guess.”
A fan jokingly chimed in, “Standing too close to my girlfriend there, buddy.”
McCaffery simply commented five red heart emojis on the post. He also shared a post to his page that showed a more casual side of their relationship as they were riding in a golf cart.
“3 years with the most beautiful best friend,” said the former men’s basketball assistant coach of Butler University wrote.
The couple met at the University of Iowa and confirmed their relationship in August 2023 with photos of them celebrating their summer.
McCaffery recently left Butler after being hired in September 2024. Before Butler he worked for one season as the basketball development coordinator/team assistant for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.
At this time, its unclear where McCaffery will end up but Clark is gearing up for her third WNBA season. Her sophomore season in the WNBA was cut short due to a season-ending injury, but she is confident for the upcoming season.
“I think we’re gonna be the favorite to win it all,” Clark said last month when she worked as an analyst for NBC’s NBA coverage per Sports Illustrated. “I think it adds a little pressure, but that’s what you love about it. But we’ve got a great squad, great coach, great support staff. So, super excited.”
