LAMBEAU FIELD, Wis. (WBAY) – Luke Combs played his second night at Lambeau Field on Saturday.
It’s the venue’s first-ever back-to-back show conducted by a single act, and fans definitely made the most of it.
The concert brought thousands of fans from all over back to Green Bay for one more packed night after Friday’s performance.
Before gates opened, the pre-party was already going on at Titletown with a whiskey tailgate featuring live music and lawn games,
Some fans say they came for the full lineup just as much as for Luke himself.
“We’re here for the Luke Combs concert. Uh, can’t wait. They have a great lineup. I think they have three openers. Dierks Bentley is one of them,” said Steven Chiovari and Christian Cruz.
They made sure to catch the second and final night in Green Bay.
“Uh, this is their second day here in Green Bay, so we’re here to catch the, catch the last night, so we’re excited to see Luke Combs,” said Chiovari and Combs.
Others say they already know exactly what they’re hoping to hear, especially when it comes to that encore.
“Exhilaration. Just here for our special Luke Combs song. So, like, Fast Car, Where the Wild Things Are. So looking forward to that encore, honestly,” said Nathalie Namitz, Melissa Davis, Molly Rice, and David Davis.
For plenty of people, it’s the venue that makes this stop feel even bigger, turning a concert into a Lambeau experience.“That’s what’s extra exciting about being at Lambeau,” said Morgan Barg.
This is the first concert at Lambeau Field since 2019, and the first-ever act to play back-to-back shows inside the historic venue.
Before Saturday night’s concert, Mat Maxwell and Jake Sommers from Luke Combs’ band partnered with Heid Music for a free special in-store clinic at their Green Bay location.
The event was designed for those who like to play, plus music students, and up-and-coming musicians to learn about what it takes to succeed in the modern music industry.
