Dino Prizmic has high hopes for himself after his breakthrough run continued at the Italian Open.
Prizmic had to come through qualifying in Rome, but he now finds himself in the last-16 of a Masters 1000 tournament for the first time.
The Croatian has already knocked out two seeded players in the Italian capital, with Prizmic beating Novak Djokovic and Ugo Humbert.
This has backed up Prizmic’s wins over Ben Shelton and Matteo Berrettini in Madrid, and he has now revealed his ranking goal for the end of the 2026 season.

Dino Prizmic targets top 30 debut by the end of the year
Prizmic was ranked as low as world number 394 last year after a difficult period with a wrist injury, but he has made big strides up the rankings since then.
The 20-year-old was even ranked outside the top 120 at the start of the season, but Prizmic is now at a career-high of world number 79.
After beating Humbert 6-1, 7-5, Prizmic was asked if he has any targets in mind for the rest of the year.
Prizmic revealed that he is hoping to be in the top 30 by the end of the 2026 season, as well as remaining healthy.
“Maybe for me goal is to be top 30 at the end of the year,” Prizmic said in his post-match press conference.
Prizmic added, “Top 30, yeah. First of all, I just want to stay healthy and play as much as I can.”

Where could Dino Prizmic be ranked after the Italian Open?
Prizmic has already confirmed that he will better his career-high ranking after the Italian Open, but it is just not yet clear how high he will be after the tournament.
The former French Open junior champion is currently at world number 68 in the live rankings, but Prizmic could take that even further.
| Italian Open 2026 | Where Dino Prizmic would be at the live rankings |
| Fourth Round | No.68 |
| Quarterfinal | No.55 |
| Semifinal | No.39 |
| Final | No.31 |
| Champion | No.24 |
Prizmic could even achieve his goal of making the top 30 already if he was to win the Italian Open title.
Before he can think about winning the title, Prizmic will focus on his next opponent in Karen Khachanov.
If Prizmic is able to beat Khachanov then he will break inside the top 60 for the first time in his career.
