Heads up! Severe thunderstorm watch in effect until tonight


JACKSON, Wyo. — Batten down the hatches, folks!

All that warm weather in the valley is being followed by a cold front.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Teton County until 8 p.m. Other counties also under the watch include: Fremont, Lincoln, Park, Sublette, Sweetwater and Uinta.

If recreating outdoors, head inside at the first indication of thunder and lightning. Take care and follow these tips for staying safe when lightning strikes.
