NBA insider Brett Siegel shared Golden State Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry‘s shocking career longevity plan.

In Siegel’s latest column, he said that Curry is not retiring anytime soon and wants to play at least 20 seasons in the league.
“In terms of what his future with the Warriors looks like, Curry is not going anywhere anytime soon.
“Retirement is obviously on the horizon, but team sources told ClutchPoints that Curry has made it known multiple times throughout the years that he would like to play at least 20 seasons in the NBA. The 2025-26 season was his 17th year.”

Curry is coming off his 17th season in the league; however, it was riddled with injuries. The 38-year-old was limited to 43 games this season, the lowest amount he’s played since the 2019-20 season.

Nonetheless, when he was on the court, Curry was his same old self, averaging 26.6 points per game, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 46.8 percent from the field.
While injuries were a struggle for Curry, he’s shown he has plenty left in the tank and has a desire to compete for titles. That will be the goal for the Warriors as they seek to build a roster that could maximize the final years of the former Davidson Wildcat.
There is very little chance that Curry finishes his career elsewhere, as the two side have expressed their desire to ride off into the sunset together. The challenge now is to take care of Curry while also building a roster that can seriously compete for a title.
Golden State drafted Curry with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
