The Athletic has live coverage of the 2026 NFL schedule release.
The NFL will release the 2026 schedules for all 32 teams at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. Here is what we know about the Los Angeles Chargers’ schedule so far.
The Chargers will play each team from the AFC East and NFC West, as well as the 2025 second-place teams from the AFC South, AFC North and NFC South. Los Angeles will also see its AFC West division rivals twice, once on the road and once at SoFi Stadium, as part of its 17-game schedule.
Los Angeles was not selected for any of the league’s nine international games. The Chargers have eight home games, though because they play a “road” game against the Los Angeles Rams, they will play nine times in the regular season at SoFi Stadium. They will also face all four teams that reached the conference championship games last year, plus take a trip to Baltimore to face former defensive coordinator Jesse Minter and the Ravens.
Here is the lineup of home and road opponents, listed alphabetically.

The Chargers went 11-6 in the 2025 regular season, reaching the wild-card round of the playoffs for the second straight season under coach Jim Harbaugh and general manager Joe Hortiz. But a dreadful offensive performance in a 16-3 loss to the New England Patriots dropped quarterback Justin Herbert to 0-3 in the playoffs and left the Chargers still looking for their first postseason win since the 2018 season.
Come back Thursday night for the Chargers’ week-to-week schedule, plus season analysis and predictions.
