First leg gives us belief we can win – Neilpublished at 19:51 BST

Millwall v Hull (0-0 agg, 20:00 BST)

Millwall

Millwall boss Alex Neil said if you had offered his side one game at home to get into a play-off final at the start of the season, they would “definitely have taken it”.

“We’re not delighted with the draw [in the first leg], we wanted to win the game, but what it does do is it sets it up nicely and we need to perform well and try and win the game,” Neil told BBC Radio London.

“We just need to try and have a little bit more guile, a little bit more cutting edge and hopefully that will get us across the line.

“I think what the game should do, certainly the second half, is give them belief that we’ve got an opportunity to go and win the game.

“Our fans will be right up for it, our players will be right up for it.

And hopefully we produce the quality required to try and get the first goal.

“I think if we do that, it’ll bring Hull out and I think at that point, it’ll become a bit of a shootout. We’re looking forward to it.”
