TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police responded to a shooting near the Fontana Shopping Center Saturday evening.
According to police, they have identified two suspects and three victims. The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, and police said they have severe gunshot wounds.
Tulsa Police said the victims are a 24-year-old woman who was shot in the leg, a 29-year-old man who has multiple gunshot wounds in his leg and a 20-year-old man who was shot in his back and shoulder.
According to officers, a little bit before 7 p.m. a party was taking place inside of Kraken Seafood, a restaurant inside of the Fontana Shopping Center. A group of people with the party and another group got into a disagreement inside the restaurant and confronted each other.
Older adults tried to intervene and de-escalate the situation. Both groups were removed from the building and asked to leave.
The groups made their way outside to the parking lot where Tulsa Police said a fist-fight broke out.
Officers said the fight quickly turned into a gunfight. Police said over 20 shots were reportedly fired between both groups, resulting in the three injuries.
Over 25 shell casings were recovered by officers at the scene, as well as firearms.
According to Lt. Madden, the two suspects are in custody. However, Tulsa Police are looking to speak with any witnesses and are looking for any videos of the fight.
