Zendaya
Malcolm & Marie
This romantic drama, written and directed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, stars Zendaya and John David Washington (The Piano Lesson) as the eponymous couple. After returning home from the premiere of filmmaker Malcolm’s new movie, Marie questions why he didn’t acknowledge her in his remarks at the event. Both are forced to question their understanding of their relationship as the night progresses and the tension grows. Zendaya’s performance in this black-and-white film earned her a Critics Choice nomination for Best Actress.
Jacob Elordi
Frankenstein

Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel comes to life in writer-director Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, the story of a mad genius, Dr. Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac), who’s seeking to create life from death. Through his many experiments, he births the Creature (Elordi). But Frankenstein’s actions have unforeseen consequences, and he soon finds himself fighting for his own life. Mia Goth (Pearl) and Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) co-star in this Gothic sci-fi tale that earned Elordi an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
On Swift Horses

This historical romantic drama, based on Shannon Pufahl’s 2019 novel, takes place in the 1950s and stars Elordi as Julius Walker, a Korean War veteran, and Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People) as Muriel, a homemaker and Julius’s sister-in-law. When Muriel and her husband, Lee (Will Poulter), move to San Diego, they invite Lee’s wayward brother to come live with them. But Julius chooses to strike out on his own and heads to Las Vegas, where he begins to form an unexpected relationship with his colleague, Henry (Diego Calva). Meanwhile, Muriel begins betting on horse races and becomes enamored with her neighbor, Sandra (Sasha Calle).
Sydney Sweeney
Eden

Based on a true story, director Ron Howard’s (Hillbilly Elegy) historical thriller follows three families of settlers who have three differing opinions about how to enjoy paradise. In 1929, Dr. Friedrich Ritter (Jude Law) and his wife, Dore Strauch (Vanessa Kirby), were the only people living on the island of Floreana in the Galápagos after escaping postwar Germany’s rising fascism. But the couple’s lifestyle is threatened when two new groups — enamored with Ritter’s writings about their utopian existence — arrive and begin imposing their own ideals. Sweeney plays Margret Wittmer, who moves to the island with her husband, Heinz (Daniel Brühl), and their son, Harry (Jonathan Tittel), in an attempt to cure Harry’s tuberculosis. Ana de Armas (Blonde), Toby Wallace (The Society), and Felix Kammerer (Frankenstein) also star.
Night Teeth

Director Adam Randall’s supernatural thriller takes place in a world where humans and vampires coexist peacefully, with vampires only feeding with consent. But chauffeur Benny’s (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) entire world is turned upside down after picking up two mysterious girls (Debby Ryan and Lucy Fry) who expose him to a secret world he never knew existed. He is suddenly hurled into their cryptic underworld on a mission to save Los Angeles from dripping in blood after a vampire lord, Victor (Alfie Allen), goes rogue. Sweeney plays Eva, one of a pair of vampires — alongside Megan Fox’s (Subservience) Grace — who confronts Victor about his reckless behavior. Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead) and Alexander Ludwig (Vikings) also star.

The series’ ensemble cast also includes Darren Criss (Glee), Laura Harrier (BlacKkKlansman), Holland Taylor (The Chair), Samara Weaving (The Babysitter), and Patti LuPone (The School for Good and Evil).

When their longtime friend group undergoes a major shift, they’re forced to take a closer look at both their romantic and platonic relationships.
The Madness

In this thriller by creator Stephen Belber, Domingo plays media pundit Muncie Daniels, who stumbles on a dead body deep in the Poconos mountains and fights to prove his innocence and reclaim his lost ideals.
