The band will play the venue this summer
Multi-platinum, Grammy and Academy Award-nominated rock juggernauts Counting Crows are set to make their long-awaited, first-ever appearance at the Los Angeles iconic venue – Hollywood Bowl – for back-to-back nights on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th. Unleashing a live performance set so mystifying and immersive – it’s one only a band with three decades worth of generation-defining hits could summon.
Pre-sales are available now, ahead of the general sale on Tuesday, May 5th, at 10 am local time.
With over 20 million records sold worldwide, Counting Crows have carved out a legacy that few bands can touch — anchored by their landmark debut August and Everything After, which went seven-times platinum and introduced the world to the timeless, era-shaping anthem “Mr. Jones.” From there, they built an arsenal of emotionally charged, radio-dominating hits, including “Round Here,” “A Long December,” and the Grammy-nominated smash “Accidentally in Love,” which also earned an Academy Award nomination.
But accolades only tell part of the story. On stage, Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz is a force of nature — unpredictable, completely captivating, and fully enthralled in every song. Leading the charge with raw, unfiltered intensity, turning every lyric into a lived-in confession, every performance promises something singular and unrepeatable.
Counting Crows’ intensely soulful and intricate take on rock made them stars. Ever since, their songs have become timeless anthems for millions of people around the world. Riding high on the critical acclaim for their 2025 album Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!, HBO revealed their unfiltered journey to stardom in the documentary Counting Crows: Have You Seen Me Lately?, released December 2025.
