Coach Patty Gasso and the third-seeded Oklahoma Sooners will host former Sooners star Samantha Ricketts and the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Norman Super Regional this weekend at Love’s Field.

OU and Mississippi State did not face off against each other during the regular season.

The Sooners swept their regionals, defeating Binghamton and Kansas in five innings, then taking down Michigan 8-1. The Bulldogs won the Eugene Regional, beating Oregon and Saint Mary’s twice.
