NORMAN — The No. 3 overall seeded Oklahoma softball team hosts Mississippi State in the 2026 Norman Super Regional.

The Sooners swept the Norman Regional last weekend, outscoring opponents 28-1 and moving to 13-0 all-time in NCAA postseason play at Love’s Field. OU hit .403 in the regional round while its pitchers owned a 0.41 ERA.

The Sooners and Bulldogs did not meet in the regular season.

Mississippi State is led by coach Samantha Ricketts, who played at OU from 2006-09 and was a gradate assistant under Patty Gasso from 2009-11.
