The Atlanta Dream came into their game against the Dallas Wings on Tuesday looking to improve to 2-0 on the season, and All-Star forward Angel Reese was doing her part to try and ensure that the team got a win. Reese even trolled the Wings’ home crowd a bit after hitting Odyssey Sims with the ‘too small’ gesture following a made bucket.

The play occurred in the first half of the Dream’s game against the Wings with Angel Reese grabbing an offensive rebound after a missed 3-point shot from Allisha Gray. Reese rebounded the ball over Odyssey Sims, gathered herself and then went up strong to finish the play over Sims, prompting the gesture. Sprinting back down court, a few Wings fans began to boo with Reese playfully encouraging them.
As of publication, the Wings held a slim lead against the Dream at the half. Reese had six points, seven rebounds and one blocked shot in 16 minutes of play. She was shooting 2-of-4 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.
This is Reese’s first season with the Dream after being acquired in an offseason trade with the Chicago Sky. The No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Reese played the first two seasons of her career with the Sky. She’s coming off her second consecutive All-Star selection, and she’s established herself as one of the league’s elite rebounders.
In the Dream’s season opener, a win against the Minnesota Lynx, Reese finished with 11 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocked shots in 32 minutes.
