If you’re trying to hop on Bluesky today and find yourself staring at error messages instead of your usual feed, you are definitely not alone. Plenty of users are running into the same problem right now.

The ongoing server hiccups seem to be impacting the Home feed and Discover section in particular. Many people see either a blank screen with placeholder lines or clear error boxes popping up.

In our checks, we noticed one error saying “Failed to load feeds” followed by “Unable to connect. Please check your internet connection and try again.”

Another common one says something went wrong when contacting the feed server, with the note “Failed to fetch.”

Both the main Home timeline and the Explore/Discover tab refused to load properly, even with a solid internet connection. So it’s clear the problem is on Bluesky’s end.

Head over to X right now and search for Bluesky. You will find a steady stream of fresh posts from frustrated users saying the app is down or their feeds will not load. Some are already joking about it or switching over to other platforms while they wait.

For now, there is not much users can do except refresh the app or wait it out.
