NIPSCO and United Steelworkers leadership have ratified part of their agreements.

The “physical bargaining unit” has approved the deal and will return to work as directed.

The agreement was reached on April 16th.

However, the Clerical Unit did not ratify their agreement and remains subject to the lockout.

This comes as negotiations have been ongoing since January 20th after the prior contract expired in March.
